What is SCRIP ? ? ?

What is Scrip?

Scrip is a term that means "substitute money". When you purchase scrip, you're purchasing gift cards that are used just like cash. These cards are available from companies for everyday expenses like food, clothing, gas, other essentials, dining, entertainment and more! With every purchase you make of Scrip, Wesley Academy earns revenue.

Which retailers participate in the Scrip program?

We have many retailers listed on the Wesley Academy Order Form. You can also go on-line to http://www.shopwithscrip.com/ click the SHOP tab and start shopping on-line!! You will have to sign in and enter the code CF12D2392291L so that Wesley receives the credit for your purchase. If you want to purchase scrip for a retailer not listed on our order form, just write it in on the bottom of our order form and we will order it for you.

How does Scrip generate revenue for Wesley Academy?

Every Scrip purchase from a participating retailer results in Wesley Academy receiving 2%-15% of the purchase price (percentage varies according to individual retailer agreement). For example, if you purchase a $100 HEB card to use for groceries, Wesley Academy will receive 4%, or $4 from that purchase. Scrip is "shopping cart fundraising" since it can generate revenue for Wesley Academy from your regular household purchases. So rather than paying retailers directly, buy Scrip gift cards and then do your shopping. There's no additional cost to you, you buy these cards at face value!! It creates additional revenue for Wesley Academy and an alternative to supporting our school.

How do I purchase Scrip?

Simply download and complete the form indicating the type and quantity of gift cards you want to purchase. We will also have copies of order forms in the school office and the school store. Attach payment (cash, check, or credit card) and return to the office. Scrip orders will be due every Monday morning for a Wednesday afternoon delivery. Your customer number will be your last name.

How do I find out more?

Much like the golf tournament holes, we would like each silent auction section at the auction to be sponsored. This is a great way for the entire student body, their parents, First United Methodist Church members and over 275 guests at Royal Oaks Country Club to view your company or family's support for Wesley Academy.

Gracious Donor
A former and generous Wesley Academy family has donated $10,000 towards the Annual Auction!! The plan for this donation is to be used for a tuition drawing in the live auction!

Please SAVE THE DATE for our upcoming mixer that without a doubt as October's mixer will be a mixer to attend! Friday, November 13 at Jim and Pam McVaugh's home.
