The Agenda

This Agenda was presented to everyone that attended the Auction mixer Friday evening. We wanted to keep focus on what we needed to discuss and what is important at this time! Remember...Starting strong, to Finish Successfully! Thank you!

1. Why We Care So Much, It's Only Their Future!

I spoke about what Wesley Academy has meant to me, my children and our family. I wanted to share with everyone that Wesley Academy, The Head of School, Teachers, Staff and other Wesley families have been a rock of support and love through the years. The passion and determination we carry for this school to have their best year yet comes straight from our hearts! We are all very fortunate to have such a fantastic academic learning environment for our children!

2. Our Goal For The United We Stand Auction Is.......$150,000!!!

In years past, the Auction Chairs and their wonderful volunteers have reached their goal of $100k for the Annual Auctions. This year we are challenging ourselves, parents, friends, community and supporters to step it up a notch (or Fifty)!

3. Corporate, Corporations, BIG BOYS!

Christina, Co-Chair, focused on the importance of involving the Westchase community and local corporations to participate in the contributions. Please make sure you go to your employer and ask them to join in our quest of reaching our goal! We have several packets available for you to provide them with all underwriting opportunities.

4. COMMIT For Wesley Campaign

Make a personal pledge to Wesley to raise money for the auction. For example, if I pledge $1,000 I will extend an invitation to all my relatives, friends, co-workers and neighbors to donate and help me reach my personal goal. All checks can be made out to Wesley Academy UNITED WE STAND ANNUAL AUCTION 2010 and turned in to the front office. Please be assured that everyone that contributes, no matter how large or small, will receive a Wesley Thank You to show our appreciation for their support!! You would be surprised how many folks want to give and help, especially to such a great cause! Kathy Neely or myself can provide you with the acquisition letters to help this process.

5. Explanation of Duties / Committees / Roles

There will be copies of these explanations of various important and not so time consuming roles for auction help!

6. Initiate Monthly Auction Mixers

As mentioned before, these will be a great source of fellowship and fundraising.

7. Acquisitions...Don't Be Shy, Pick One!!

Please contact Lorett or Christina for more information on acquisitions.
