Lower School Spring Dance - Dance Champs!!!

The parents and students that attended last Friday's Lower school Spring dance made the event a success! With over ninety guests in attendance the event was filled of laughter and dancing. The students along with their parents had a Limbo and Robot contest and we even had a pretty good conga line going!! The door prizes included autographed Houston Texans photos, a Free Dress pass for next year, an Avatar DVD and lots more!! The dance became extra special when all the girls danced to "Butterfly Kisses" with their dads. The boys were excited to dance next by dancing "Mama" by Boys To Men with their moms. The pretty hat contest had three lucky winners...Claire Beal - Kinder, Elizabeth Charkalis - First Grade, Katie Coppes - Second Grade.

Our DJ and MC was Kenneth Cuadra whom had a great variety of music for all to enjoy and dance too. Christina Greer prepared an absolutely delicious pasta dinner that left everyone wanting more! A special Thank YOU to The Ottosen, Tran, Russell, Coats families for bringing desserts for the event. I would also like to thank Auriani Berges, her mother and Kathy Green for helping with set up and clean up. Mary Birk was the photographer for the evening and captured all the special moments and memories made at the dance - Your help made this event possible - Thank you!!

By supporting and attending the dance you helped raise another $835 towards our efforts in reaching our annual auction goal!! Way to go!!

God Bless and God Bless Wesley Academy!!
